Hannah Woodcock

Hannah Woodcock is a freelance lawyer and provides legal advisory services to a range of businesses on commercial and corporate matters on a consultancy basis.  Hannah qualified as a lawyer in 2007.  

Hannah attended Collegiate High School and Blackpool Sixth Form, prior to studying at Lancaster University where she achieved a First Class honours degree in Law. She then completed her Legal qualifications at Nottingham Law School, before training and qualifying as a solicitor at Addleshaw Goddard LLP in Manchester. Hannah has spent most of her career working as an in house lawyer for listed PLCs in Manchester.  Her last permanent role was as Deputy General Counsel at Arrow Global Group PLC where she supported the business on complex transactions, including Arrow Global’s IPO, European M&A deals, an asset backed securitisation facility and the first time launch of a credit fund.

What’s the best thing about Manchester?

That there’s always something / somewhere new to discover.

What has been your biggest disappointment?

Having to cut my extended travels short when the pandemic started as I was having an amazing time in Mexico.  Having said that, it did lead to other things that I wouldn’t change for a second.

How do you relax?

I try to do a little yoga every day, even if just for 20 minutes.  I also love cooking whilst listening to music and watching reality TV.

The soundtrack to your life. Which song?

Whatever, Oasis

If you could go back in time, where would you go?

To when my grandparents were still alive.

What’s your most over-used phrase?

That’s bonkers.

What advice would you give to your 15 year-old self?

You’re exactly where you’re meant to be.

Roast Dinner or Fish ‘n’ Chips?

Fish and chips although without the fish as I’m vegetarian.
