Could you inspire the next generation?
Recruitment is open for speakers
We are looking for relatable Greater Manchester professionals from every sector who would like to visit local state schools and colleges.
From acrobats to zoo keepers (via bankers, journalists, lawyers, programmers, scientists, theatre directors and vets), we want to meet relatable role models who can show the next generation what’s possible with a dream and a lot of hard work.
Working with StateTalking can help to support organisations’ CSR, ESG and DEI agendas around diversity and social mobility.
Could you speak to a student group?
Could your workplace host a group of students on an experience day?
Could you sponsor a student career event?
> Complete this form and we’ll be in touch

Like 93% of the population, I’m a state school kid. I’ve visited several schools with StateTalking. I try to provide a spark, so students realise they can achieve things if they believe in themselves and put in the hard work.

A kid from my background was never meant to reach the heights I have. I got here because of moments of inspiration and support along the way. That’s why I am so passionate about StateTalking: sometimes, one speaker is all it takes to spark that lightbulb moment.
