Brendan Lane

Brendan Lane (RN) initially undertook his nurse training in 1994 in London working in St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, where he continued to work after he qualified. He also joined the Army reserves he has deployed in several countries including Kosovo where he worked in both British and American field Hospital’s and provided pre-hospital care.

Brendan was also deployed in Iraq setting up the largest field intensive care unit ever deployed by the British Army and also in India and Kenya providing expedition medical cover. He also undertook a diploma in Tropical Medicine at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical medicine, and worked in India providing medical cover for expeditions.

Brendan is currently employed in the NHS as a Senior Charge Nurse at Bolton Hospital, he has also previously been employed as a Chief Clinical Informatics Officer.
