Isobelle is the Head of Student Recruitment and Admissions at University Academy 92, founded by the Class of 92’ in partnership with Lancaster University. Isobelle joins the higher education sector for the first time following a successful commercial career working across digital organisations building sales and recruitment teams.  Having recently been shortlisted for “Talent, HR & Recruiter of The Year” at the MYTA’s and  nominated for the ‘Disruptor for Good” category at the Northern Power Women Awards, Isobelle understands the value of challenging the status quo and creating game-changing strategies to scale up the cultures and organisations she is a part of.

Isobelle and her team are responsible for building strong relationships with schools and colleges, as well as communities and networks across the region. UA92 is a deliberately different higher education experience in Greater Manchester, offering industry-led courses in business, media, sport and digital with character and personal development at the core, supporting industry with an integrated pipeline of talent. Passionate about creating real access to education, optimising the student journey and student experience, Isobelle and her team take a hyper-personalised approach to ensure those who are first in family to go to university are provided with the support and guidance they need.

As a keen equality, diversity and inclusion champion, Isobelle makes a deliberate move into Higher Education in a bid to couple her commercial skillset with her passion for helping people and wanting to make a real impact to the success of the local Manchester community and beyond.

Outside of work Isobelle loves to travel, play netball and exercise, attend gigs and concerts and go on long walks in the countryside with her cockapoo, Pablo!
