Craig has been engaged in two different but very connected sectors, higher education and applied practice for over 15 years.
During his career, Craig has worked across several higher education institutions teaching, developing and leading on a range of sports related curriculums. Craig also works in the applied world of sports performance which helps him to forge a critical understanding of the interdependent relationship between research and application. Craig has worked across many sports, but mostly focuses his work on football, and has worked with a number of top-level football clubs.
Craig joined University Academy (UA92) in June 2019 as their Senior Tutor and Course Leader for the Sport provision. His research specialises in performance psychology. His current research interests are focused on the key factors that influence (or impact on) players mid-career transitions in professional football in England
